Thanks to Sierra Club Green Home (SCGH), a new Web site designed to educate Americans on how to make their homes more energy efficient, environmentally sustainable and healthy, Sierra Club Members are invited to send along your stories for a chance to have your homes profiled in This Old House magazine. With more than 2.3 million readers across the country, This Old House, which shares the philosophy of the national television show by the same name, is looking for traditional homes that have undergone some type of green renovation or home improvement.

So if you’re a proud homeowner who has devoted time towards making your home greener—whether by installing kitchen countertops from recycled materials, replacing older fixtures with low-flow fixtures, insulating your water heater and pipes, or installing bamboo flooring—we encourage you to share your story for This Old House’s consideration. We take pride in knowing Sierra Club Members are examples of how to be more environmentally conscience and we expect your homes are no exception! For more information, please contact SCGH at ThisOldHouse@scgh.com.
