Having eco friendly products like <a href="http://www.greenenergyhomeimprovement.com/roofing/certified-roofing.aspx" rel="nofollow">Newton roofing</a> helps reduce heat in our home, and can help save our environment.

Enviroshake offers a roofing product that looks identical to a real cedar roof but is made from 95% recycled materials. It is mold, mildew and insect resistant, has a class C fire rating (Class A available upon request), and is maintenance free. The best part is they offer a LIFETIME warranty that is non pro-rated and transferrable for up to 50 years. I re-roofed my old cedar shakes with Enviroshake, and I could not be happier. It looks amazing, and I know I don’t have to worry about treatments or upkeep!

I live in a city townhouse with a flat roof. The roofing materials you mentioned are not an option for me. My choices are a rubber roof, or a white acrylic applied over a fabric barrier. Do you have any advice?
