Whilst there reduction in VOC in any product is great, one needs to be also aware of the semi VOC which have a different boiling point and are not included in the regulatory VOC limit of a particluar product. Also one should look at having paints that are vapour permeable and not create a &quot;plastic bag&quot; effect like the synthetic paints do. If you have someone that is sensitive in your family, repaint otherwise ventilate and more ventilate.</description>

		<description>I have read that painting over my existing paint will not seal in the off-gassing VOCs.  Is this true?  What can I do to protect us from the VOCs that are off-gassing from our existing wall paint?</description>
