Why not use recycled plastic lumber instead.

Essentially, all recycled plastic comes from unwanted and waste plastics. Re-use is far superior to recycle! It uses less energy than that of recycling. Using the plastic that is already in circulation to make recycled plastic lumber is much more kinder to the earth than chopping down what forests we have left, don't you think. If you're looking for recycled plastic wood in the UK. Try these guys. www.kedel.co.uk, or for some upto date information on recycled plastic, visit my blog http://www.recycledplasticwood.co.uk

Thanks

I appreciate the discussion about decks. I understand that a composite deck (Wood and plastic) saves trees, but it is not recyclable when its lifespan ends. It seems there are no great choices, but what do you think is the best green choice?

Decks are expensive. Including installation, synthetic lumber and premium woods can cost $20 a square foot or more, with softwoods running in the $10 to $16 range.

WHAT EXACTLY IS SOFT FOOD.
