Programmable thermostats are only good if used correctly. My wife, who I love dearly, is an idiot when it comes to programming anything and had our set to change temps several times a day… it took some time before I realized what she had done because our bills were higher, but once I figured it out and we got it set correctly, we’ve already seen the difference (in comfort and price). And she’s not allowed to touch it anymore!

We have a Programmable Thermostat Programmable Thermostat at home, and I've never taken the time to learn how to use it. There are so many things to learn in being a new home owner! I think this is one thing I can have my husband help me with this weekend. I'd like to save a little bit of money and do my part to help conserve energy.
