Well I guess these geothermal heat pumps were pretty the best among other types its saves energy plus if give you comfort during any season, unlike other brands these pumps are environmental friendly. I’m now using fujitsu heat pumps here in New Zealand pretty amazing and I have not encountered problems yet.

I have a new, interesting book on geothermal heat pumps that is just out. Yes I agree that heat pumps can both cool and heat. But, to supply hot water, is not only the function of GSHP, air-water heat pump water heaters also do the job. And they are more convenient to install and maintain

It’s not so weird for a heat pump to cool … it’s just pumping heat OUT of the house during the summer, and pumping heat INTO the house during the winter. It’s all about HEAT being moved— the same as with a regular air conditioner — they move heat out of your house. A refrigerator moves heat out of a box that you put food in. freezer ditto.
It’s heat that gets moved.

LOL. Such a contradiction. A heat pump that can actually cool. I have a question. For those who live in apartment complexes, isn’t installing a heat pump not allowed? How does a person who lives in an apartment deal with this?
