I've been looking for flooring that would match my home's modern decor and design. I asked my interior decorator and she mentioned that I should buy green wood flooring made out of wasted strips of lumber. Is this reclaimed flooring? I'd really like to know more.

Thanks for pointing out the importance of finding a trusted contractor who has multiple references. There have been so many instances when people call someone up only to have a botched installation job. It's important to include, too, that some jobs are just too serious for people to be attempting themselves (like marble tile installation or concrete floor polishing). Great info, keep it coming!
