This comment is for Sally above. I recently sold a wondrous, cotton blanket with the feel of cashmere to a customer in Hawaii who was asking the same question. She loved it! www.northernnaturals.com

[...] Natural fibers breathe more easily than synthetic fabrics, wicking away moisture if you sweat, and creating a layer of insulation when you generate your own body heat. Plus, organic and natural comforters and quilts do not contain ‘finishing’ chemicals like formaldehyde, a toxin that can irritate the skin, nose, eyes, and respiratory system (babies are especially sensitive). Plus, more environmentally-friendly covers will usually be colored with plant-based or low-impact dyes. [...]

Down comforters can be more economical as they are already filled, and there is no need to purchase a separate cover. To save a little bit of money, another great place for a large selection of bedding products is at http://www.beddingandstuff.com. They usually have great deals all the time.

Down comforters are very breathable allowing air to pass through them. We spend a 1/3 of our time in bed and making sure that we are comfortable while there is a big factor on the way we feel when we wake up. Picking the right bedding is key to this. Thanks for the information!

he position you normally sleep in is a major factor when deciding what pillow you want to purchase for yourself. Back sleepers normally need thinner pillows, while a side sleeper could use some extra support to keep their neck properly aligned. Contour type pillows work well for either situation. Stomach sleepers need to be careful not to get a pillow that is too thick, so they don't suffocate on the pillow
