@FAkEterRain – they mean electric ignition for a gas oven – which means there’s no need for pilot lights which burn all of the time on a gas stove without electronic ignition. Just in case you’re still in the market for a stove.

I’m confused– it says “When Shopping– look for: Electric ignition” Is that an electric oven, or a gas oven with an electric ignition? I’m not sure on this and I’m currently in the market for a stove… help?

Also, another tip when using the stove. Don’t use non-stick pans as they can release harmful chemicals.

I have one of those ovens that claim to boil water in like 30 seconds. Do you think that’s a good eco-friendly alternative to gas ranges? It takes less time to cook food and no gaseous fumes.

YOU DONT NEED BUY A PRODUCT THAT’S ‘LESS TOXIC’ SIMPLY USE BAKING SODA! LET IT MARINATE A LITTLE AND THEN JUST WIPE OFF THE SLUDGE. WORKS EVERYTIME. GOOD LUCK.
