In this economy, couples are having trouble affording regular weddings. How are they supposed to afford green weddings? How much would a green wedding cost compared to a traditional wedding?

When considering diamonds, please note that the Kimberley Process which is intended to certify “clean” diamonds is highly controversial and, many consider, corrupt. Canadian diamonds are mined with tighter regulations, but they are still mined. Opt for vintage or lab-grown diamonds instead. My engagement ring comes from Diamond Nexus Labs and it is BEAUTIFUL! Apollo and Gemesis are two other diamond labs, though they specialize in color stones. (canary diamond, amyone?)
