I too am an advocate of clean renewable energy resources. The sun shines for free everyday. I recently read an email signature from an associate, “”More solar energy hits the earth in one hour than the entire human race uses in a whole year–We don’t have an energy crisis, we have a harvesting problem!”
As people become more educated about solar energy, there are more in-depth parameters to be looked at such as module efficiency, guaranteed output, warranty, cell efficiency, tolerances, and of course, ROI. I work for a German-engineered module manufacturer, and this is preached based on an enormous wealth of experience gained in the last .5 decade in EU.

Pretty good description, etc….but, I also learned something new which was about the solar glass. thanks
YOu might want to mention the modular systems which are now available witih mini-inverters on each one which cuts down on the effects of shade

You present some great information here, I especially like how you outline specific types of products consumers can obtain to generate Solar Electricity. I think it is important the people are informed about environmentally friendly energy options. I work with Sharp who sell solar products and thus have a greater understanding of the importance of clean and renewable energy sources. Solar energy is not only better for the environment but also offers consumers great savings long term.
