I think shopping at second hand stores is great for conservation of resources. However, they are still filled with all the treated clothes the article mentions. In the end, we can only make the best contribution to wellness possible in any given moment.

I love clothes, I love fashion. I just read the green dry cleaning article, and it gave me some great ideas on what to do with my “dry clean only” clothes. Maybe I’ll start shopping at vintage stores now. You really can be green in all aspects of your life.

I used to feel like I could never give up my shopping habits. But I recently have – for economical more than environmental reasons. Surprisingly, I don’t feel deprived at all and I feel more eco-conscious. I’m definitely going to keep it up!

I’ve been trying to be more eco-friendly for a few years now. I have reduced my shopping incredibly, and when I do shop I try to go to trendy vintage shops. They’re really great.

I always read about big designers creating eco-friendly lines. wouldn’t it be funny if a big designer that makes furs begins an eco-friendly line? Give me a break
