GREEN CHECK SPECIALIST

SCGH, based in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking two dynamic sales personalities to contact our Providers offering our “Green Pages” listing package.  While sales and building Provider relationships are the primary responsibilities, the successful candidate(s) will also have limited involvement in social networking and promotion of our site.  Comfortable offices in modern building with plenty of parking, base salary plus generous commission.  Sorry no benefits.  This is an independent contractor position.   We will consider college students.

Requirements:

• Phone sales
• CRM proficiency: managing new and existing accounts
• Lively personality

Preferences:

• Experience working with contractors
• Green credentials
• Proven track record in sales
• College degree

Have a passion for the environment? Want to reduce your city’s carbon footprint? Would you like to be a part of the green world, helping to improve the planet with an affiliation to the largest, most established environmental non-profit in the country? Sierra Club Green Home (www.SCGH.com) is expanding its grassroots community outreach. We are looking for youth activists nationwide to help us lead our new Energy Audit First campaign, designed to help lower the carbon footprint of 100 homes in 100 days.

Sierra Club Green Home was developed with a simple mission in mind: to help Americans make their homes more energy efficient, environmentally sustainable and healthy. We provide education and relevant news information to assist the consumer in this journey. We also point consumers to local area providers of green products and services. We seek to provide content on all facets of life: home, work, entertainment, indoor and outdoor interests, and more.

We seek activists who:

• have a passion for the
  environment
• would like to attend green events and conferences
• can post campaign signs in neighboring shops and schools
• can generate homeowner interest in receiving home energy audits with one of our reputable GreenCheck Providers

We will train you to be knowledgeable on all things “energy efficient” as well as provide you with the skillset to become a successful community organizer. This is a volunteer position with pay for specific projects. Time commitment is flexible, not based on an hourly schedule.
